Check In: 3 PM to 6 PM (later by prearrangement)
Check Out: No later than 11 AM

If you would like to leave your luggage while you enjoy the island before check in or after check out, we have an enclosed luggage area in our bike yard beyond our garden patio.

Deposit Policy

Reservations of three (3) nights or less require full payment when the reservation is made.

Reservations of four (4) or more nights require a 50% deposit when reservation is made with the balance due upon arrival.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations received more than two weeks before check in date will receive a refund less a 10% service charge.

Cancellations received less that two weeks prior to check in, regardless of reason, will receive a refund (less the 10% service charge) only if we are able to re-book without loss to the inn.

Late arrivals or early departures are treated with the same cancellation policy.

Some holidays and events require a 30 day cancellation notice: Christmas Stroll or group reservations such as weddings, reunions, business groups, etc.

Please leave your car behind

A car is unnecessary to enjoy the beauty of Nantucket and its leisurely pace. We encourage you to leave your car on the mainland to avoid the problems of congestion & parking. Taxis & shuttle buses are available as are bike, moped, and car rentals. Do as most Islanders do - bike or walk Nantucket!

Odds and Ends

Peak season rates apply to Thanksgiving and Christmas Stroll weekend. Somewhat reduced rates apply to other "special event" weekends.

We have a two night minimum stay requirement on most weekends. Some special event and holiday weekends require a three night minimum stay.

One night stays: Please inquire about one night stays on weekends as they may be available once we are closer to the time of arrival. One night stays are usually available during the week.

All rates are subject to an 11.7% room occupancy tax: 5.7% MA, 6% Nantucket tax.

Room rates are based on single or double occupancy. If we can accommodate a 3rd person in a room the charge is as follows: Under age 6, $15 per night; ages 6-12, $25 per night; over 12, $35 per night.

We are able to accommodate children if appropriate rooms are available.

We are a non-smoking inn. For the health, safety, and comfort of our guests, smoking is strictly prohibited at our property. We will assess a $150 cleaning charge to a guest's credit card if there is evidence of smoking in the room.

Our inn-dogs, Minnie and Britta, reside at the inn, therefore we cannot accommodate the pets of our guests.
